At The English Hatter we are fans of the material merino wool. We have no less than five different sweaters made from this fantastic material. Discover now in the series Telling Stories what makes our merino sweaters unique and watch Peter's video.
Merino wool, what is it actually?
Merino wool comes from the merino sheep. This breed of sheep produces the softest wool. It is one of the most famous breeds in the world and that is not without reason. The wool of the merino sheep has a much finer structure. The fibers of this type of wool have a smaller diameter than regular wool. This ensures that it feels soft. As Peter also explains in the video, merino wool is excellent to wear directly on the skin.
