Lamb's wool, what is it actually?
Lambswool is literally the wool of lambs. A multifunctional natural fibre that is a favourite among knitters and spinners. It is actually the wool from the first shearing of young sheep. This makes the quality wool feel soft.
The lambswool sweater
As Peter explains, our lambswool sweaters are made from the Australian Glenn Merino sheep. The wool from this sheep is of excellent quality. The double-threaded yarn ensures that the sweater feels a bit thicker. The pullover is available in V-neck and round neck, each in no less than 14 colours. We also have lambswool sweaters from the William Lockie brand, the Rolls-Royce among lambswool sweaters. We advise our customers to feel the difference and are happy to tell you more about the qualitative details. Come visit one of our eight stores.
Maintenance
One of the many fantastic properties of wool is that it has a high self-cleaning capacity. Wool contains the natural fat called lanolin, which is dirt and water repellent. So feel free to hang the lambswool sweater in the humid air outside for a night. When lanolin comes into contact with the humid air, it provides a natural freshening up of your lambswool sweater. That saves another wash.
