HOW IT'S MADE
In 2009, the leather industry had almost disappeared to low-wage countries. Secrid has brought this production of small leather goods back to the Netherlands. Because they have developed a revolutionary different product and production process, wallets are being produced in our country again. More efficiently and cleaner than ever before, on a scale that has never happened in the Netherlands before.
Close cooperation with 50 suppliers is essential: from the sewing workshop in Vlaardingen to the social work companies in Leiden. Produced with passion, under good conditions and with attention to the environment. In the meantime, our small wallet has created more than two hundred jobs.
Nearly a hundred people assemble every day Secrid products with enthusiasm and precision in the social workshops in Leiden, Delft and Haarlem. After the assembly of the various components, each wallet is provided with a unique serial number as proof of authenticity.
SECRID AT THE ENGLISH HATTER
At The English Hatter you will find over 30 different Secrid mini wallets and various card protectors. The Miniwallet is a compact and safe wallet, with the Secrid Cardprotector as its basis. In addition to the cards in the Cardprotector, the wallet offers space for a few cards, paper money, receipts, business cards and some coins. The Miniwallet is compact and easy to carry in any bag because of the snap closure.
