Traditionally, The English Hatter goes to many men's fashion fairs. Peter Kraan and his brother Hans travel a lot together. Pitti Uomo is by far the most important fair for the brothers. They have been coming here for about 30 years, twice a year. The past two years there have been smaller and digital editions, which they unfortunately were not present at. Edition number 102 of the men's fashion fair is now complete again in the normal version, and as they say in English: we are glad to be back .
From 14 to 17 June, the most beautiful summer collections for the 2023 season will be on display here. What is striking is that it is a lot smaller. Nevertheless, there is still a lot to see. It is important for The English Hatter to be here and put together collections, select fabrics, develop ideas, see which way the market is going and what we can do to delight the customer. Peter and Hans have spoken to a number of well-known manufacturers, but have also met new ones. The first orders have been placed and we can't wait to show them in the store next year.

Furthermore, we are very pleased to see that sustainability is playing an increasingly important role. We will see this reflected in fabric manufacturers for our collections and various brands that you can find at The Hatter. One of the four sections at the fair, called S|Style Sustainable Style, was entirely dedicated to this. Some of the most interesting designers and emerging labels in the field of sustainable fashion are exhibited here.
